The human satellite is to act as the Hub and heart of the human, faction. If this was to be destroyed the human faction would relieve a loss.

This week was dealing with a new construction ship that would have sport 2 distinctive styles for each faction.

Re modelling-Human Fighter(24/02/17)

Since last week i have begun remodeling the previous assets. I have been concentrating on the human fighter ship, I started with making the main body more defined with sharper edges. Then I added smaller details such as vents. The main difficulties I came upon with this model was with UV mapping the geometryso that a texture could be made.

Feedback from team (17/02/17)

following from the beta submission, we were happy with the feedback we received and now know that it is more important to refine what we have now, instead of creating new material. However personally i received feedback from my team giving their view on my quality of work, and saying that it does not meet the standard that were expected. After much discussion we took this as creative differences, i took on board what needed updating so  that everyone was happy with what was being delivered.

now that a general theme has been made with concept art, and the addition of a task list helped me focus on key assets of my own. Asteroid: This was going to act as the turret points of the game, which ever faction that controlled these would gain an advantage over the opposing team. Construction Ship: The goal of this ship is to build the turrets on the asteroids. Earth and Moon:  Human Fighter: This was to be the basic fighter for the human faction.  Missile Refinery: In order to buy and create missiles a missile refinery would need to be placed on the surface of the holographic moon in front of the player.  Missile turret: These buildings would appear on the asteroids after the construction ship is sent to the asteroid.  Missile: This is the missile that the player can grab after is has been constructed.

The Building blocks! (03/02/17)

Since the last post we have been deciding and creating a set of mechanics so that we have a solid basis to work off. With this I was able to create a asset list and then discuss with the other artist in the group regarding how the work load will be split up . Along with this concept art was researched from all members of the group and  then collected together in assigned mood maps for assets that were required. From these concept art, the art department had a theme and common idea to go by.
